Well, good for you! And, an overwhelming majority of Canadians know that too.
This, of course, makes it quite strange that a particular group of Canadians struggle with this very same question.
Who are they: the HOMELESS?
No, not at all, they have homes, perhaps too many of them, and all on the public purse. They are Canadian Senators!
Recently, in response to a very simple basic question: where do you live, many Canadian Senators stumble, and struggle over the correct answer. It’s a tough question, and they want to feed at the public trough. So, a simple question may yield a complicated, complex, convoluted and deceptive answer.
One Senator submitted $90,000.00 in false housing expenses, claimed to have repaid it personally by securing a bank loan, when, the fund for reimbursement had been given to him. There may be an issue about being “on the payroll” of another person, when in fact, the politician’s income should have been from Canada. That would make the Senator loyal to Canada. But, what about divided loyalty? Is that appropriate?
In the meantime, for everyone else: keep up the good work, knowing where you live.
This is not a “trick real estate question”.
