Toronto Market Up 22.64% in First Six Months (2016)
For those who are following the market, here is a list of the average prices for single family homes in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) in 2015 and for the first four months of 2016, as reported by the Toronto Real Estate Board.
When we are looking at increases for the year, the December 2015 number is actually the end of the month or 31 December 2015. That’s just the same as the opening number on January 1st.
The increase in value so far this year has been $130,329.00, that’s a 22.64% increase, just in the first six months of 2016.
That’s a sizeable increase, no matter what type of statistics you use to measure performance.
